About Wet Orchid
Wet Orchid was founded by Christie Ann Templeton, a postmenopausal woman, eBook author, and now the author of a groundbreaking exposé on glycerin in personal lubricants.
Once perimenopause began, Christie went on a personal journey to find safe, effective products to restore vaginal moisture and elasticity. What she discovered was troubling: most mainstream products were not made with menopausal women in mind, and many contained ingredients that caused irritation, burning, and discomfort — including one commonly used chemical, glycerin, found in dangerously high concentrations.
After trying product after product that didn’t satisfy her needs, Christie began working with a lab to formulate a new standard — proprietary vaginal moisturizers free from harsh chemicals and designed specifically for women like her. Through careful research and real-world testing, she developed the Wet Orchid line: intimate products that feel good, support vaginal health, and actually work.
Now, with the release of her public study on the dangers of glycerin in high concentrations, Christie is on a mission to make this information widely known and to advocate for safer standards in women’s health products.

Our Mission
To help women who are perimenopausal, in menopause, and post-menopausal find the best products and resources to help them combat the negative effects of menopause. The products sources on Wet Orchid are designed to help with the common symptoms women suffer such as vaginal dryness, pain during intercourse, and other undesirable side effects of going through the change.
And women who have not gone through menopause but are expecting to soon can also benefit from the products on this site as a way to prepare for the change, making the transition to menopause a little easier.
